Why Was My Air Conditioner Inspection Cancelled?

Great job!  You scheduled an air conditioner inspection.  This simple step will help to make sure that your air conditioner is running safely and efficiently this summer.  An efficient air conditioner means that you are saving money.  But, now you’ve been called by the heating and cooling company and told that your inspection is cancelled and needs to be re-scheduled.

WHY?

Most likely because of rain.  Spring is the best time to have an air conditioner inspection completed, but, unfortunately, it can also be a rainy time of year.  Having technicians complete these inspections while it is raining is a safety hazard because part of the check involves looking at the outside condenser unit.

Please know that if this happens to you, the air conditioner inspection is still worth it.  An A/C inspection truly does help your unit stay in better shape.  And, if the temperatures rise before your next scheduled inspection, it is still safe to turn the a/c on beforehand.
