5 HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing Inspired Costume Ideas

Heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical can sometimes seem kind of boring.  However, we love Halloween just as much as everyone else–I mean, what’s there not to love about candy?

In order to get into the spirit, we wanted to share a few heating, cooling, plumbing, and electrical costume ideas in case you still aren’t sure what to be this year.

1. Mario and Luigi of Super Mario Brothers

Plumbing inspired costume ideas

Two of the most famous plumbers out there!  This can work great as a couples costume, siblings costume, or you can even choose one to dress up solo.  What’s even better is that this is a super easy last minute costume: a pair of denim overalls, red or green shirt, hat, and you are ready to go!

2. Toilet

A toilet as a plumbing inspired costume idea

This is a pretty obvious plumbing inspired Halloween costume, but it is still guaranteed to get plenty of laughs.  Plus, depending how the costume is constructed, you can even store the trick or treat goodies in the basin.  Check out these instructions to learn to make it.

3. Bubble bath baby

Bubble Bath

What is cuter than a baby in a bathtub?  Not much!  The real perk of this costume is, by using a wagon as the bath tub, you can easily pull along the baby while trick or treating with the older kids.  Hey!  After a few blocks, they may even want to hop in the “tub” too.

4. A light bulb

What a bright idea! A click of the button on Amazon will get this costume your way with minimal effort from you.  Comfortable and simple…my favorite kind of costume.

5. An electrocuted man (woman)

Another one of our easy costume ideas.  Use a crazy wig to teach about the dangers and risks of electricity.  You may not have any more curious kids around outlets once they see the “electrocuted man.”
