Sometimes when I enter the mall I feel like I am back at the “Involvement Fair” my first weekend of college. Every store is trying to offering me some type of package, get me to be a member of their “club,” or tell me why they are the best. If I had taken every so-called savings opportunity that was offered to me last weekend while I was shopping, I may have saved 15% that day, but I would have walked out with 10 new credit cards and therefore, 10 new credit card bills. To me, that just doesn’t seem worth it.
Though multiple store credit cards sounds like a potential recipe for disaster, there are some plans that are worth it. One such example is the maintenance agreements of Flame. There are three different levels: Silver, Gold, and Gold Plus. The levels give you varying degrees of service depending upon your situation.
The major points that they have in common include a heating safety inspection, a cooling inspection, priority service, discounts on certain purchases and the Gold Plan and Gold Plan Plus allow you priority on emergency service calls. The amount of discount depends on the level of plan. So, is it worth it? The answer depends on what type of comfort and peace of mind you desire.
One of these plans IS worth it if you hope to keep your furnace and air conditioner up to date efficiency wise and safe. Furnace and air conditioner inspections increase the life span and efficiency of the unit by making sure there are no major issues and they keep your home and family safe by checking for any dangerous carbon monoxide leaks.
One of the Gold Plans IS worth it if yours and your family’s home comfort is a top priority. Priority on calls means that if your furnace breaks in the middle of February, you will not shiver for long because you will be at the top of the list. When the temperatures are nearing 90 and 100 degrees in the summer and your family is over for your daughter’s birthday party, you can rest assured that if the air conditioner goes out, it will be repaired quickly. Furthermore, you will receive discounts on the repairs necessary.
To sum it all up, it is possible that these plans are not for everyone. However, in order to have peace of mind in your home and wallet and make sure you are getting the most out of your furnace and air conditioner, a maintenance plan will keep you covered. The other good news is that there are different plans for different people and lifestyles. To read more about the plans click here. For more information, contact Flame!
