Celebrate Nurses Month With flame

Do you remember being small and sitting in the doctor’s office shivering in fear of the giant shot that should be walking through the door at any minute? Receiving shots as a child (and as an adult) can be awful.  Not necessarily the shot, but the fear leading up to the shot.  This past Fall, I had to be tricked into getting a flu shot (I was not a happy camper).  However, despite that sickening dread there was someone, besides Mom or Dad, who helped make the shot “not so bad” or “just a pinch.”  That person was typically a nurse.
