Well, Detroit, we did it. We made it on The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America’s list of the worst cities for people with allergies. Detroit is ranked #50 out of 60. Things could be worse, but that is little comfort to those of us sniffling miserably from spring allergies.
Here are some ideas from Flame for making this allergy season better…
–Have your ducts cleaned. Having your ducts cleaned every few years will keep it clear of dust and other build up.
-Install an air purifier or UV germicidal light. These items are put right into the duct system and will decrease the amount of pollen, dust, and bacteria floating around the air.
–Change/Clean the Filter. Doing this on a regular basis will also lower the amount of allergens in your home’s air.
