Do you think you need your ducts cleaned? If the answer is “no,” and you haven’t had them cleaned in the past couple of year, then you may want to think again. This will be a photo journal showing you the before and afters of duct cleaning.
This is an example of a duct in a home where there are smokers
As you can see, if you or others in your home smoke inside, your ducts are very dirty with a yellowish tinge. Dirty ducts can restrict air flow and the unwanted particles in the ducts may also escape through your air filters and back into your air. Dirt and other “stuff” in your ducts could also cause larger problems for your furnace and air conditioner later on.

Do you have pets? I love my two labs, but they shed EVERYWHERE. Every wonder where all the hair and dander goes when it get shaken up into the air? Check out the next ‘before and after’ photos of a home with pets.
I know that when you are living in your home, you cannot see the dirt inside of your ducts so you may have an “out of sight, out of mind” mindset. Hopefully these pictures helped you to see what is really going on in your ducts. This “stuff” in your ducts, which can be hair, bacteria, dust etc… shouldn’t be recycled back into your home again. Your ducts should be cleaned regularly every few years.
