Since large Memorial Day gatherings are out of the question this year due to the spread of Covid-19, you don’t need to worry as much about losing energy during a party. But even without a big party that doesn’t mean you still can’t celebrate this day to honor those who have died in military service and the unofficial kick-off to summer.
So, what can you do for Memorial Day 2020? Plenty!
We know that after almost 2 months of staying safe at home, you may be a little bit bored with going for walks around your neighborhood. So, take a drive with your family to a different neighborhood and walk around! Or, check out some of Michigan’s metroparks–just make sure to practice safe social distancing measures of course.
Yep, you can still fire up the grill without having a party. Enjoy the sunshine and a freshly grilled burger this Memorial Day. Or, try out one of these delicious recipes.
Are you missing out on an annual camping trip or time up north this Memorial Day? Set up a tent in the backyard, build a fire in a fire pit, and roast some marshmallows.
Remember, that while Flame Heating, Cooling, Plumbing and Electrical will not be performing any non-essential calls on Memorial Day, we are still available for emergencies. Please do not hesitate to contact us!
Most importantly, thank you to those who have served and died in service for our great country. Have a safe, healthy, and happy Memorial Day!
