With rain ahead of us in the forecast, many people will be receiving phone calls asking them to re-schedule their annual air conditioner inspection. This is because, unfortunately, for safety reasons technicians cannot perform air conditioner maintenance inspections when it is raining outside.
Don’t worry- a rescheduled a/c inspection is no reason to panic. Annual maintenance check-ups are strongly recommended and can help to increase the air conditioner’s lifespan as well as prevent any major problems. But, you do not need to have the a/c inspected before you turn it on for the season. If the temperatures, start to get toasty before the air conditioner inspection rain date, you can still switch your thermostat to cool and enjoy. Read more about readying your a/c for summer here.
Of course, if when you turn the air conditioner on you have trouble, please do not hesitate to contact Flame, and we will have a technician right out to you.
Please be sure that during this time of Covid-19, Flame technicians hold your safety as a priority. Technicians will be masked, equipment and hands will be sanitized, and majority of communication will take place over a phone call while the technicians is still in his or her vehicle.
