Responded to service call for water leaking from pipe in kitchen ceiling. Upon arrival, accessed plumbing infrastructure through existing wall opening at floor level. Identified source of leak in vertical copper supply line system serving kitchen fixtures above. Inspected two copper supply pipes with existing shut-off valves and central drain stack running through wall cavity. Evaluated valve integrity, pipe connections, and surrounding plumbing components for damage or deterioration. Created access point through drywall to expose affected plumbing for proper diagnosis and repair. Installed or verified operation of brass shut-off valves with red handles on both hot and cold water supply lines to isolate affected section. Addressed leak issue and restored water service to kitchen area.
