3 Habits that Make flame Difference
Every company likes to proclaim about how they are different than others. Better prices, quicker service, cooler pens…anything to beat out the competition. Sometimes, though, it’s really the little extra things that make the biggest difference.
At FLAME, we could talk about our deals and specials, but there are couple of unusual things that really contribute to FLAME difference.
Today I would like to discuss a few ways where FLAME is different, but in some ways you wouldn’t think of right away.
Booties
Every single FLAME technician slips on booties when they enter a home. No, I’m not talking about cute ankle booties, but about shoe covers that kind of resemble shower caps to cover their dirty work boots. At a recent job I observed a FLAME technician enter and exit the home multiple times to grab different parts from his truck. Each time, he put on and off the shoe booties. On and off, on and off. It would’ve been much easier to not do that, but he would have undoubtedly tracked in dirt and other debris from the outside into the house.
Having workers at your home undoubtedly amounts to some disruption. You may have to be at home instead of running errands or you may not have access to a specific area of your home. However, you do not want to have to worry about dirty footprints all over rugs and carpets.
Drop Cloths
Along the same lines as the booties, FLAME techs use drop cloths very liberally to help keep customers’ homes clean. They really make it a priority to not cause extra stress and work for the homeowner.
Helpful Text Messages
Everyone has sat at home while waiting for some type of technician before, right? You re-arrange your schedule so you can be home for a certain block of time and wait for someone to show up. Waiting…waiting… wondering, ‘should I quickly go to the grocery store or will they come while I’m gone?’
FLAME has recently begun sending text messages to give you a heads up as to when the technicians are on their way. These messages include a picture of the technician, their name, and facts about them. Not only does this make life more convenient, but you can also feel more comfortable knowing who is coming to your home.
Additionally, all FLAME technicians wear uniforms so they are easily identifiable, which contributes to your safety.
