Air Conditioner Inspection FAQs

This spring one of the most important things you can do for your home is have your air conditioner inspected.  These inspections increase the efficiency and the lifespan of your unit.  If you have never had this done before, you may be wondering what the process is like.  Here are some of the big questions regarding air conditioner inspections answered:

WHO:

Air conditioner inspections done through FLAME will be completed by NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certified technicians.

WHEN:

Air conditioner inspections can be scheduled for any time in the spring or summer.  We recommend having them done earlier rather than later, so you can have the peace of mind of knowing your a/c is in great shape for the summer months.

However, please be aware that inspections cannot be completed when the temperature is less than 65 degrees or when it is raining out.  If, on the day of your scheduled inspection, it is too cold or rainy, you will be called and asked to reschedule at your earliest convenience.  You do NOT have to wait to turn your air conditioner on until it is inspected.

WHERE:

The inspection will take place both inside and outside of your home as the technician checks out the outside condenser unit as well as the parts located inside.

HOW LONG:

When scheduling your inspection, please expect it to last about 45 minutes to an hour.
