On Thursday, January 20th, FLAME hosted a Bone Marrow Drive in order to find a bone marrow match. This was open to the public from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. It was hosted by Michigan Blood. If you were unable to make it yesterday, the good news is that you can still help! FLAME still has testing kits available that you can pick up the office in Warren.
I went through this process myself, and I can assure you that it really does only take 10 minutes. Imagine rubbing a q-tip in your mouth four times.
