The city has seen many changes over the years, and we’ve remained resolute in our promise to provide superior services to our customers.

Our History

FLAME was founded in 1949 by Robert Marowske. At first, FLAME only provided heating services to the Detroit area. Our company also sold Christmas trees when times were hard to keep the business going.

In 2001, Robert’s son, Gary Marowske, took over the family business and continues to provide electrical, plumbing, and HVAC services in Southeastern Michigan. We have continued to grow from a small family-owned company to a widespread network of almost 100 employees.

FLAME has installed over 100,000 systems over the years, which has added up to a tremendous amount of experience and knowledge. We have also won several awards, including the Dave Lennox Award and Contracting Business Magazine’s National Contractor of the Year. Some of our employees have been with us for five decades!

We are a full HVAC, electrical, and plumbing contractor, and we do everything in-house. We’re still family-owned and have about 70 vehicles on the road to service our customers. You’ve probably seen our red trucks around Metro Detroit.
