Generator Maintenance Tips

April showers bring May flowers, right?  Well, April thunderstorms bring power outages.  In fact, not only do April storms bring power outages, but so do May, June, July, and August storms.  Power outages can be inconvenient, costly, and even dangerous depending on the temperatures outside.  One of the best ways you can be prepared for a power outage is with an automatic standby generator.  These generators are connected to the natural gas line and automatically turn on when the power goes out.

When a generator is in use during a power outage the oil should be changed every two days or 50 hours.
